Indiana University South Bend has an exciting opportunity for an innovative, enthusiastic, and user-oriented librarian to lead the campus forward in meeting the challenges of changing modes of scholarly communication. The successful candidate will develop and promote a scholarly communications program to faculty and library staff; communicate the value of depositing scholarly and creative output into open access sites, locally created digital projects and institutional repositories; explain alternative publishing models and consult on author’s rights; and act as the Libraries' chief resource on copyright, digital rights management and fair use. This position will create and maintain web guides on scholarly communication and copyright; provide faculty support services; serve as the campus contact person for IU data management services; and assist in the planning and implementation of digitization projects.
